What we collect
Your email when you join the waitlist. Your design chats, uploaded photos, and configuration history when you use the product. Standard analytics: page views, rough geography by IP (never precise location), device type for mobile optimization.
What we don't do with it
We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't train DRONA on your designs or your uploads. We don't train the underlying language models on your conversations. We don't share screenshots of your work outside our internal team without your explicit permission.
What we do with it
We use your designs to make DRONA work for you — rendering, computing specs, running compatibility checks, searching the parts catalog. We use aggregate anonymized metrics to understand how people use the product (without ever identifying individuals).
We use your email to send you waitlist updates and, once you're onboarded, product updates. Unsubscribe in one click.
Image uploads (photo-in-chat)
When you drag a photo into the chat, we pass it to a vision-language model for identification, match against our parts catalog, and return you the result. We retain the image as provenance on the matched part (if you opt in). EXIF location data is stripped by default. Enterprise customers can opt into zero-retention per image.
Third-party services
We use Vercel for hosting, Resend for transactional email (waitlist confirmations), Supabase for the parts catalog and user accounts, and the Claude API for the conversational layer. Each has its own zero-retention agreement with us.
Your rights
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time. GDPR, CCPA, UK GDPR, PIPEDA, and LGPD compliant. Data residency options available on enterprise plans.
Breach response
If we have a security incident affecting your data, we'll tell you directly within 72 hours. We do not hide behind "ongoing investigation" delays.
Changes
We'll update this policy when meaningful. We'll tell you directly, not via a dropdown you never check.
